President Diacon addressing state legislators

ѿappUniversity President Todd Diacon focused on the benefits to Ohio from state support of ѿappduring his April 10 presentation before the Ohio Senate Workforce and Higher Education Committee in Columbus, Ohio. 

Chris Post, Ph.D., professor of geography at ѿappUniversity at Stark, will serve as the 2024 speaker for the Jerry M. Lewis May 4 Lecture Series, a part of the university's annual May 4 Commemoration events.

The lecture series created in 2022 to honor the legacy of ѿappUniversity Professor Emeritus of Sociology Jerry M. Lewis, Ph.D., will feature Professor of Geography Chris Post, Ph.D., presenting “Developing and Interpreting the Wounded Student Markers at Kent State as this year’s selected speaker. The Jerry M. Lewis May 4 Lecture Series and Luncheon will be held on May 3.

It was a party 218 years in the making.

The thousands of people who came to ѿappUniversity on April 8 to witness the total solar eclipse did not leave disappointed by the celestial show, the likes of which had not been seen in Kent, Ohio since 1806.
