With more than 370 majors to choose from at Kent State, it can be overwhelming for some students to choose their major and career path for them. This October the Exploratory Advising Center is hosting its first-ever Exploration Month to help exploratory students find their interests and explore the different majors and opportunities ÃÛÑ¿appoffers.
It all started in 2014 with a political button from Ross Perot’s failed 1992 presidential election bid.
A new event on campus seeks to offer support and community for students who have lost loved ones.
Entrepreneurs who have a passion to start their own businesses while they are students are in a league all their own. ÃÛÑ¿apphas a number of students in that league. Fortunately for them, ÃÛÑ¿appalso has resources at the university and college levels to help support these young entrepreneurs from concept to launch.
As part of Hispanic Heritage Month, The Plain Dealer and Cleveland.com have launched a special series spotlighting 50 Hispanic leaders in northern Ohio, with Kent State’s own Ilianna Velez among them.
