ѿappCommunity Celebrates Homecoming, Football Team Wins 17-14

ѿappstudents have fun with alumni social media props at the Homecoming tent on Front Campus.ѿappUniversity celebrated Homecoming on Saturday, Oct. 14, with classic traditions such as the Bowman Cup 5K Race, Kiss on the K, Homecoming Parade and football game. This year’s Homecoming featured ѿappalumni Ben and Candace Curtis as the Homecoming Parade Grand Marshals.

The Homecoming parade was followed by the ѿappUniversity Alumni Association’s “Welcome Home Party” at the Center for Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement located at 350 S. Lincoln St. in Kent. The ѿappGolden Flashes hosted the Miami RedHawks at Dix Stadium. The ѿappdefense highlighted a second-half comeback as the Golden Flashes edged Miami for a 17-14 win on Homecoming.
