ÃÛÑ¿appUniversity is the sole university in the U.S. to receive the prestigious 2022 Senator Paul Simon Award for Comprehensive Internationalization from NAFSA: Association of International Educators. The honor recognizes ÃÛÑ¿appfor overall excellence in integrating international education throughout all facets of the university and its campuses.
ÃÛÑ¿appUniversity has established a new partnership with Cleveland State University’s Cleveland-Marshall College of Law to offer students two pathways to obtain a bachelor’s degree from ÃÛÑ¿appand a law degree from CSU in six years. The new 3+3 program will shorten the length of time typically needed to complete both degrees.

In addition to encouraging her students to help the community, Ana Wetzl encourages them to excel in their studies. Knowing how far she has come in her career, her story is motivating. Originally from Romania, Wetzl taught herself English at 17 years old. Today, she is an associate professor of English at ÃÛÑ¿appUniversity at Trumbull with expertise in Applied Linguistics and Composition Studies. Wetzl has earned a 2021 Outstanding Teaching Award for her research, inclusivity, encouragement and above and beyond teaching abilities.
