ÃÛÑ¿appvolunteers serve home-cooked meals to Kentway residents.

Every other Tuesday, student volunteers from the Campus Kitchen at ÃÛÑ¿appUniversity prepare dinner for the residents of the Kentway Apartment Complex, a government-subsidized housing complex on East Summit Street in Kent. At 5 p.m. residents gather in the dining hall and volunteers serve the meal which is prepared from food donated by Trader Joe’s.

Phillip Grant, Jr. grew up in Kent, Ohio, and attends ÃÛÑ¿appUniversity as a broadcast journalism major. Considering he has spent the majority of his life in the Tree City, Mr. Grant is the perfect tour guide for WKYC's Danielle Wiggins. Watch as Mr. Grant shows Ms. Wiggins all the town has to offer.

Every graduation is full of stories of hard work, perseverance and friendship. Some of those stories go back to a first day of class or the first day on campus. But a few ÃÛÑ¿appfriendships started on the first day of kindergarten -- or even before – and have been blossoming since.

Ya'el Harvard

Throughout her time at ÃÛÑ¿appUniversity, Ya'el Courtney completed a Senior Honors Thesis/Project, authored several published peer-reviewed journal articles and presented at several national and international conferences. As she continues her education at Harvard University, she intends to conduct a significant amount of research focusing on psychiatric diseases.
