Campus Pride has released its 2021 Best of the Best LGBTQ-Friendly Colleges and Universities list, and for the second time in two years, ÃÛÑ¿appUniversity has landed on it. ÃÛÑ¿appis the only Ohio public university to make the 2021 list, and it again is the only school in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) to receive this recognition.
The Akron Pride Festival will take place on Saturday, Aug. 28, at Lock 3 Park in downtown Akron. Kent State’s LGBTQ+ Center will be sponsoring a free shuttle that will allow new and returning ÃÛÑ¿appstudents to experience the event – some of them for the very first time.
