University community invited to get a sneak peek at campus improvements
ѿappUniversity faculty, staff, students and alumni are invited to “First Look,” an event that offers the university community the opportunity to experience firsthand, the transformation of ѿappand the Northeast Ohio region. The event will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 29, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Kent Student Center Ballroom.
ѿappPresident Lester A. Lefton will deliver brief remarks at 9:30 a.m. and at 11:30 a.m. There will be exhibitions and food will be served throughout the duration of the event.
Members of the ѿappcommunity are invited to learn how ѿappand regional partners are making a profound impact on Northeast Ohio. The “Foundations of Excellence: Building the Future” exhibit will show how ѿappis reinventing spaces for exceptional learning environments, growing new spaces to advance student success, fostering a sustainable future, creating a regional campus system with profound local impact, building on the momentum of recently completed projects and more.
