Emerging Media and Technology Major
Emily Young is a sophomore Emerging Media and Technology student from Beaver, Pennsylvania. Emily is the current president for Dress Up for Down Syndrome, an organization at ѿappfocused on inclusion, fashion and friendships. Emily is also a cheer coach at World Elite Cheer in Talmadge, Ohio, where she works with elementary through high school aged students.
After graduation, Emily hopes to bring technology and inclusion together by working with companies to create programs to help people with disabilities. Emily’s dream job would be to work for Disney creating technology to help make their parks more accessible for people with disabilities and different communication styles.
