We offer support services in the areas of accounts payable, grants accounting, financial and plant accounting, and student receivable accounting. We provide diligent efforts and dependable financial services to the campus community through professional expertise, developing practical procedures and processes, promoting efficient systems, maintaining sound financial records, and seeking continuous improvements. We safeguard the University by ensuring adherence to regulatory and other requirements from the federal and state levels.

Curriculum Services

Curriculum is a chief asset of the university, one that helps define Kent State's unique character. Because curriculum remains healthy through change, it maintains the value of programs for our students.

Our NEH Summer Institute “What is Gained in Translation: Learning How to Read Translated Texts” (June 4-24, 2017) is dedicated to the study of texts in translation as a way to develop cross-cultural literacy and to explore what can be gained by addressing issues of translation in the classroom. For scholars in the Humanities and Social Sciences who work with translated texts, this institute will provide the theoretical models and applications developed through Translation Studies that will enable them to exploit translation as a teachable moment.

Finance and Administration

The Business Administrator Services (BAS) Forum promotes cooperation and communication between central administrative financial offices and the many and varied decentralized business office functions across ѿappUniversity. This is done by providing business and finance related orientation and training opportunities for personnel with business management responsibilities, and by facilitating networking and dialogue among financial professionals university-wide. BAS serves as a central support system for business professionals at the unit level, while at the same time promoting a dual focus on both unit level needs and university-wide financial objectives. BAS was created to address the streamlining of financial administrative processes and improve cross-divisional communications on matters affecting financial management of the university.
