Internships and Co-ops

What are co-ops and internships?

Co-op programs provide students the opportunity to combine classroom study with periods of full-time paid professional employment directly related to a student's major and career goals. Co-ops do not count towards college credit hours, and students maintain an “in school” status for financial aid without needing to take additional classes. Co-ops are organized by ѿappUniversity's Office of Career Exploration and Development Co-op page.

Internships occur during or outside regular classroom study and may be paid or unpaid, full-time or part-time. Internships count toward college credit, and financial assistance is available through the Office of Career Exploration and Development. Aeronautics and engineering internships are administered through the College of Aeronautics and Engineering (CAE) for all CAE students.
