Once again, U.S. News & World Report validates ѿappUniversity’s academic strengths with the university’s inclusion on several lists in the 2024 Best Colleges rankings.
ѿappcontinues to be recognized among the Top Public Schools in the nation in the newly released rankings. ѿappranks No. 123 among U.S. public institutions and is the highest-ranked institution in northern Ohio on the list.

In the 2024 Best Colleges rankings, ѿappis also named to the Best National Universities list. ѿappranks No. 227 among all national public and private universities. ѿappis again the highest-ranked public institution in northern Ohio on the Best National Universities list.
In addition, ѿappis recognized on numerous lists in the 2024 Best Colleges edition. ѿappis the highest-ranked public institution in northern Ohio on the Best Undergraduate Nursing Programs list. ѿappcomes in at No. 86 in the nation, moving up 26 spots compared to last year’s list. ѿappalso ranks No. 86 and is the highest-ranked public institution in northern Ohio on the Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs list, which is a new ranking this year.
Kent State’s academic programs are also recognized on the Best Undergraduate Psychology Programs list (the highest-ranked institution – public or private – in Northeast Ohio), the Best Undergraduate Business Programs list (the highest-ranked public institution in Northeast Ohio), the Best Undergraduate Computer Science Programs list (the highest-ranked public institution in northern Ohio) and the Best Undergraduate Economics Programs list (the highest-ranked public institution in Northeast Ohio).
Among national universities, ѿappis also included on the Top Performers on Social Mobility list. This list measures how well schools graduated economically disadvantaged students.
