Three ѿappstudents were recognized among the best in collegiate journalism for the 2023-24 academic year, placing in the Hearst Journalism Awards competition, also known as the “Pulitzer Prize of Collegiate Journalism.”

Short films from two ѿappdigital media production students and three alumni will be shown this year at the 13th annual Short. Sweet. Film Fest., which takes place Feb. 28-March 3 at Atlas Cinemas Shaker in Cleveland, Ohio. Digital Media Production Associate Professor Scott Hallgren also will moderate a panel discussion at the event.
