All this week, the ѿappUniversity Kent Campus has offered a full slate of events in its 2023 Education Abroad Showcase, which serves as an introduction to the university’s education-abroad opportunities across the globe. Hosted by Kent State’s Office of Global Education, the theme for this week’s events is “Discover Boundless Horizons: Explore, Learn and Thrive Globally!”

Education Abroad Showcase begins Monday, Sept. 18, with events each day through Friday, Sept. 22.

A peace education conference is bringing together peace and conflict experts, students and educators from Kent State, Northeast Ohio and around the world.

American Academy Students in Curitiba, Brazil

For Brazilian student Rafael Bahls, being involved in the ѿappUniversity American Academy in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil, has expanded his worldview in a multitude of ways.

G Clingman is a third-year ѿappStudent double majoring in English and Spanish while also working toward their Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certificate. Though they have been studying at KSU’s main campus for the last two years, G is swapping Acorn Alley and the Esplanade for the historical streets of Murcia, Spain.

Emily Hovest is a third-year student studying architecture at Kent State’s Florence Center for the Spring semester. It was always her desired destination, especially since the KSU architecture program encourages students to study abroad their junior year.
