ѿappUniversity at East Liverpool was recognized for its 50th anniversary during a Business After Hours event hosted by Home Savings & Loan at its downtown location.
During the event, East Liverpool resident Kelly Bell received a check for $200 from Home Savings & Loan for winning the ѿappGolden category. She submitted the photo, entitled “Point of Departure,” to the ѿappphotography show held last month to observe the campus’s golden anniversary.
Home Savings & Loan sponsored the ѿappGolden category, created to select the photograph that best exemplifies ѿappin East Liverpool. The winning photo, chosen by the ѿappEast Liverpool Art Acquisition Committee, was purchased from Bell and will be displayed as part of the campus’s art collection. 
The other winning photos from the recent show also were displayed in the bank’s lobby.
