The second ÃÛÑ¿appCounty Classic basketball game will take place Tuesday, Jan. 30, as the Salem Quakers host the East Liverpool Potters for a matchup on the hardwood. Kent State’s Columbiana County campuses will welcome fans from both ends of the county for an exciting match-up, with activities throughout the game. Tip-off is at 7:30 p.m.
Cheerleaders will toss out t-shirts throughout the game; there will be a drawing for a ÃÛÑ¿appswag basket; and the ÃÛÑ¿appmascot, Flash, will lead fans in a Flash Dance at half time.
At the end of the game, a traveling plaque will be presented to the winning team by Dean Dr. David Dees.
The ÃÛÑ¿appCounty Classic represents the strong foundation of learning in East Liverpool and Salem, each a home to the university’s Columbiana County campuses.
