Commencement Ceremonies Held on Salem Campus

Caps and Gowns Commencement ceremonies were held May 13 for the ��ѿappSalem Campus. Dr. Steve Nameth, dean of the ��ѿappColumbiana County Campuses, presided over the event, along with Dr. Celeste Oprean, assistant dean for the Salem Campus.

Students speakers Devyn Rothbrust and Lisa Kesseg The keynote speaker was Rep. Timothy Ginter, State Representative for the 5^th Ohio House District.

Student speakers included Lisa Kesseg of the Insurance Studies program and Devyn Rothbrust of the Horticulture program.

Nearly 400 degrees were awarded this semester between the ��ѿappSalem and East Liverpool campuses. All Smiles

OTA & PTA Programs to Host Virtual Continuing Education Event

Looking to better prepare fieldwork and clinical instructors and educators for working with Generation Z students, the ��ѿappUniversity College of Applied and Technical Studies' Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) and Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) programs will host a joint virtual continuing education session for licensed practitioners on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2024.

Summer Fun with Psychology

For a group of elementary students from the Salem area, this past summer was not a time to take a break from learning. Instead, they participated in a series of workshops that introduced them to the science of psychology in fun and interactive ways.

��ѿappSalem Announces President’s, Dean’s Lists Spring 2024

Dr. Brad Bielski, interim dean of ��ѿappUniversity at Salem, announced those students named to the Spring 2024 President’s and Dean’s lists. To qualify for the President’s List, students must have a 4.0 grade point average and must have completed 15 hours during the semester. To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must earn a 3.40 or greater grade point average and must have completed 12 or more credit hours for the semester, the majority at the Salem Campus.
