Talk & Open House: "Military Mapping Maidens of WWII" Exhibit

Join us for an Open House from 10-11:30 am to view the Military Mapping Maidens exhibit and meet distinguished alumni Bea McPherson, '43. Dr. Judith Tyner, Professor Emerita at California State University Long Beach, and the McPherson Family will give a talk on the contributions and legacy of these mapmakers from 1-2:30 pm in the Library's Garden Room.

When America went to war, 224 young women across the country answered a unique call to serve. They left the college classroom and went to work in a Washington D.C. war room. Armed with contour pens and India ink, they drew the lines to Allied victory.
