ѿappAshtabula is excited to be a part of Kent State’s “Giving Tuesday” month long event! The official kick off and opportunity for donations begins Friday, Nov. 1.
The ѿappUniversity at Ashtabula Rising Scholars Program is designed to increase the number of students who continue their education beyond high school, are college ready and enter the workforce with skills that will enhance the economic growth of the region.
Here are couple ways you can support this effort.
- Make a gift between November 1st- December 2nd -Donate $25 (or more). For every 15 unique donors (that’s you, your best friend, your mom, your co-workers, etc.), who give $25 or more will earn an extra $500 boost for ѿappAshtabula Rising Scholars!
Trying to figure out how to make this all work? Remember, for KSU employees, payroll deduction is always an option and a few bucks a month toward this great cause is worth it!
- November 10th -16th – Give another $25 (and still count as a “unique” donor) and help us get an additional $5000 for the Emergency Fund. The fund with the most unique donors this week and the fund that raises the most money this week will each receive an extra $2500 (Help us win both!)
- We encourage you to become an official “fundraiser” and reach out to all of your friends, families and colleagues to take advantage of this opportunity to get our emergency fund back up and running to help support our students in meeting their basic needs so they can focus on their education.
